Guanajuato Mexican restaurant in Bay View closed its location today at 2301 S. Howell Ave. and will move into its new space just two doors South at 2317 S. Howell Ave.
Guanajuato owner Julio Lopez told me he expects to reopen the new location in two to three days.

Casablanca, the Middle Eastern restaurant at 728 E. Brady St. has completed its renovations that has nearly doubled its size.

The Third Ward’s Soups On (221 N. Water St.) announced this morning that the restaurant will be closing after nine years in business.
The restaurant made the following announcment vis its facebook page:

Earlier today I learned that Steve Goretzko, the owner of Bay View’s Sven’s European Cafe and Sven’s Organic Coffee Co. finalized and signed the papers to take over the old Steamer’s Coffee location Downtown at 624 N. Water St.
