Marchese’s Olive Pit announced this afternoon that the 4 and 1/2 year old Walkers Point restaurant is now closed.
The restaurant made the following announcement via its facebook fan page;

Christmas in the Ward officially kicks off Friday night at 5pm with an old-fashioned Christmas tree lighting in the heart of the Historic Third Ward at Catalano Square.

In my opinion, the Philly Way serves the best Philly cheese steak in Wisconsin.
The Philly Way, a popular the cheese steak shop in Walker’s Point has closed its Cudahy location at 5430 S. Packard Ave. after being open for less than a year.

Sobelman’s Pub and Grill posted on its facebook page today that the Sobelman’s @ Marquette sold 470+ burgers on the first day.

Mobile Days presented by the Wauwatosa Chamber of Commerce returns this Thursday during the lunch hour (11am-2pm).
Twenty-five food truck vendors are signed up and will be rolling in to Research Park in Wauwatosa tomorrow afternoon.

I just got word from Twitter that East Town’s Food Truck Friday will be moving to Westown’s Zeidler Park at 301 W. Michigan Street for one day only. I hear that Streetza Pizza, Tiger Bite, Reed Truck Super Sliders and the Fast Foodie will be there from 11am-2pm.
