THANK YOU FOR MAKING THE 3RD ANNUAL CHILI BOWL A GREAT SUCCESS -- FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THREE YEARS WE SOLD OUT OF CHILI FROM THE RECORD CROWD.

More than 1,000 people braved the frigid air Sunday and showed up at Serb Hall where the temperature was high inside with restaurants sampling more than 60 different kinds of chili.

Our mission goal of the Chili Bowl was for each attendee to bring one non-perishable canned good with them to be donated to America's Second Harvest of Wisconsin. We are happy to announce that we far exceeded our goal and filled more than 5 barrels of food. We are very grateful and thank everyone who helped make this event a great success for America’s Second Harvest of WI. To find out how you can help year-round, please visit their website at: www.secondharvestwi.org.

Comments from past Chili Bowl events...

The Chili Bowl was a terrific idea and from what I saw was very successful. I was amazed to see how many serious chili connoisseurs there are in Milwaukee. I saw many people taking notes. Personally, I have traveled all over the country attending chili cookoff's. Your event was right up there with the best. -- Thomas

Please keep doing this event! It was a great kind of outing that I think could be an annual thing for my family - especially in the middle of winter... Thank you! We had a great time and look forward to doing it again! I don't think I would change a thing. -- Scott

I went to the Chili Bowl and I had a blast ! This was a extremely fun event and I hope that it happens next year ! -- Rita
