Mark your calendar for the 5th annual Chili Bowl - Sunday Jan 30th, 2011 (12pm-5pm) at the Harley-Davidson Museum (Free Parking).
Enjoy an amazing afternoon of chili sampling for the Hunger Task Force.
More than 20 area restaurants will sample more than 50 varieties of chili and only one restaurant will leave with the "Golden Ladle" award.
Whether your temptation is spicy, vegetarian, or traditional chili, there is something for everyone.
Restaurants will battle in four categories:
Traditional
Vegetarian (About ten Vegetarian chilis, and three Vegan options, too!)
Spiciest
"Unique"
(See actual chili menus listed below)
Tickets will only be sold at the event for $13.
Please note: All tickets ordered online after Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at 12pm, and before Saturday, Janaury 29, 2011 at 12pm, will be available for pick-up at the event will call booth on day of event (Jan. 30) anytime after 12pm.
What does the ticket include? Each Chili Bowl ticket will include SIX (6) 3oz chili samples ... that's more than a lb. of chili! Plus you'll get complimentary soft bread sticks (while supplies last) from Peter Sciortino's Bakery.
We'll give you TWO MORE 3OZ. SAMPLES if you bring and donate TWO non-perishable canned goods for the Hunger Task Force. Maximum TWO free additional samples per event ticket.
The Chili Bowl ticket alone does not include admission inside the Harley-Davidson Museum exhibits.
